WTF.
ever had a hobby,
that you liked really much,
but never had the chance
to train and as such,
your 'friends' start to doubt you
and put you down low.
tell you you won't make it,
tell you you're slow.
so, admit that you're not the best,
but you still want to try,
if you went to train in that hobby,
the chances would be high,
that you improve in that area,
with passion, satisfied.
prove that you're worthy,
prove it wasn't a lie.
To You: Joining a CCA of a sport which i like doesn't mean i'm 'SHOWING OFF' my 'skills'. I know i'm not great, but i'm willing to put effort into training myself to be better. get it? it's TRAINING TO BE BETTER. NOT GOING IN COS I THINK I CAN BEAT THE REST OF THE TEAM. Besides, by your thinking, if i'm slow, there shouldn't be anything to show off! dickface. first his soccer is lousy, now my sport sucks too. what's next?
To the other one: rugby? that school's rugby happens to be one of the best. going in with determination alone just won't cut it, they select talent. and canoeing? the canoeists can each do an average of 20 chin ups... so rugby AND canoeing? pffft. YOU tell ME weather you can handle... that being said, don't come telling ME that i'll never make it. take your eleven points back up your ass, SHOW OFF.
